Increasing light levels beyond the plants photosynthetic saturation point will not increase the rate of photosynthesis

Photosynthetic Photon Flux (PPF) is a unit of measure to express the light quantum in photons of solar energy (specific to wavelength) related specifically to photosynthesis and is measured with a quantum meter in units called micromoles
The Photosynthetic Photon Flux (PPF) calculation is:
mol m-2 s-1 (micromoles of photons per meter squared, per second)
